Privacy Policy
The Short Version
No tracking or ads
We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or cross-app tracking.
Player only
TM IPTV does not provide, host, sell, or curate television or media content.
Limited service data
Most data stays on your Apple TV. Optional pairing, Remote Manage, metadata, and backup features use the services described below.
1Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the TM IPTV Player app and the companion services at tmiptv.techmobile.co.il. TM IPTV does not require a developer account. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
2Data stored on your Apple TV
Provider server addresses and credentials, account display names, cached catalogs and guide data, favorites, hidden categories, parental settings, watch and resume progress, and app preferences are stored locally. Credentials and Google authorization tokens are stored in Apple Keychain. Reset App deletes local app data and caches. Deleting the app also removes its local container, subject to Apple platform behavior.
3Connections to your IPTV provider
TM IPTV connects directly to the provider you choose. The provider receives your server address requests, username, password, catalog and guide requests, and playback requests as necessary to provide its service. TM IPTV does not control the provider's privacy practices. If a provider uses HTTP instead of HTTPS, credentials and streams are not encrypted in transit. You are responsible for using lawful content sources and for reviewing your provider's terms and privacy policy.
4Secure phone pairing
Pairing sessions use random session identifiers, hashed one-time codes and tokens, public keys, encrypted payloads, and delivery status. IPTV credentials entered on the companion website are encrypted before being relayed, so our server cannot read them. For Google Drive Web QR sign-in, our callback server briefly receives the Google authorization response and token, immediately encrypts the token for the Apple TV, and does not store a readable copy in the pairing database. Pairing records close when the TV ends the session and otherwise expire after the configured inactivity period, normally 30 minutes. Expired database records are removed by service cleanup.
5Remote Manage
Remote Manage is optional and starts only when you open it in Settings. For the active session, the app sends generic device and account labels, category and media identifiers and names, channel numbers, safe artwork URLs, favorite status, and hidden-category status to our companion service in readable form. It does not send the provider server address, provider username or password, custom account name, or stream URLs. The data is tied to a random session rather than a TM IPTV user account. When the app closes a session—for example when starting a new session, logging out, or resetting—the record is deleted. Otherwise it expires after the configured inactivity period, normally 30 minutes, and is removed by service cleanup.
6Google Drive backup and sync
Google Drive backup and sync are optional. The app requests access only to its private Google Drive app-data folder. Backup contents can include provider account details, settings, favorites, and watch or resume state. Those contents are encrypted on the Apple TV with a passphrase before upload. TM IPTV does not receive the passphrase or readable backup contents. Google stores the encrypted files until you delete them through the app where available or through your Google account and Drive controls. Google's handling of OAuth and Drive data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
7TMDB metadata
When media enrichment is available, the app sends a media identifier or a cleaned title, optional year, and language to our TMDB mirror. Provider credentials and stream URLs are not included. The request is used to return posters, descriptions, cast, trailers, and similar-title metadata. We do not use these requests to build advertising or viewing profiles. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
8Network and service logs
Our hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare, may process IP addresses, request timestamps, response status, and technical security or reliability information when you use the companion services. This information is used only for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and service operation—not for advertising or cross-app tracking. Retention is limited by our infrastructure configuration and the service provider's applicable policies.
9Sharing, sale, and tracking
We do not sell personal data. We do not share app data for targeted advertising, marketing profiles, or data-broker purposes. Data is disclosed only to the user-selected IPTV provider, Google when the user enables Google Drive, TMDB for metadata requests, infrastructure providers that operate the companion services, or when required by law.
10Your choices and deletion
You can avoid pairing, Remote Manage, TMDB enrichment, and Google Drive backup by not using those optional features. You can start a new Remote Manage session to replace the current one, disconnect Google Drive, delete cloud data where the app provides that action, remove individual provider accounts, or use Reset App to delete local data. For questions or a deletion request concerning companion-service data, contact us with the approximate session time; because sessions use random identifiers, we may not be able to identify a record without session details.
11Security, children, and changes
We use encryption, short-lived sessions, hashed access tokens, and data minimization, but no system can guarantee absolute security. TM IPTV is a general-audience media player and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change; the latest version and effective date will remain available on this page.
